«Utilite» Lamp

During the Covid lockdown in spring 2020, this lamp was created as part of my studies. Due to the fact that I didn't have access to the workshops at the university, I designed the lamp from a power bank, an LED diode and material that can be assembled at home.

My idea of the final product was a universally applicable work light. The lamp should be able to be clamped, placed, positioned and carried in as many ways as possible. With the foldable magnetic metal links and the textile strap, all these requirements can be met.

After making a cardboard model and testing the diode and the diffuser, the lamp was designed in Rhinoceros CAD and visualised via Luxion KeyShot.

Year 2020
Size 80 x 135 x 45 mm
Material Cardboard, transparent paper, adhesive tape
