«Deskubo» table lamp

This table lamp came about through a collaboration with "Wohnrevue", a Swiss magazine for design and interior architecture. The premise of the collaboration was to develop a lamp within two weeks, with a given bulb socket and 30 swiss francs cash.

It consists of a piece of round steel profile that was bent in a cube-like shape. My idea was to construct a lamp that consists of as few parts as possible, but can be positioned in virtually any direction due to its cube-like shape, so that the user can find the optimal illumination for his activity. The diffuser is a curved and sandblasted piece of acrylic glass.

The jury of "Wohnrevue" was convinced by the result and published the object in their July 2020 issue.
