Probably many still know it from childhood: the Briobahn (a wooden toy consisting of trains and tracks). To further my understanding and skills in CNC milling and woodworking, I created this steep cruve. The rail can be connected to the standard pieces of the wooden railway. The inclination of the rail makes for exciting and fun interaction when playing . The many grooves of the steep curve give the piece a dynamic aesthetic and allow the train to run at different heights. By planning the grooves in a staggered manner, it was possible to bypass a 5-axis production and ultimately mill the piece on a 3-axis CNC at the university.
